Zbyněk Frolík - How to turn a small successful company into a big successful company

My name is Zbyněk Frolík and I have considered myself an entrepreneur for the last twenty years. My “child” in this sense of the word is the company LINET which I established in 1990 as a green field project, i.e. on the ruins of an old farm. Today it is one of the four biggest companies in the world which develops and produces hospital beds. As a successful entrepreneur I have had the honour to represent the Czech Republic at the international World Entrepreneur of 2004 competition in Monte Carlo. 

I have always been interested in innovations, new construction solutions and designs and not just of the beds we produce. Hence, I also set up the educational and advisory company called the Academy of Productivity and Innovation and I am also a member of the Presidium of the Council of the Government of the Czech Republic for Science and Research. I am a member of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic. I can do all this work thanks to the support of my family as I am married and have three children.
